My mother raised me without my father and she did it very well. But there comes a time that she had to move on with her life and got married to my stepfather and had her own family to attend to. I felt very bad at that time and so I decided to go with my Aunt to another place where she also got married and there I took my high school. When I was in 2nd year high school, my teacher in Filipino subject (Mrs. Leonora Urata) asked me if I'm willing to stay with them while studying. And I said yes because I want to lessen the burden of my aunt because she also have her own children to think of.
Since then, Mam Nora shouldered all my needs in school until I finished my degree. I'm very thankful and blessed for I have met them once in my life.

Indeed, "Poverty is not a hindrance to Education" even if my parents could not send me to school, I got my own will to make it.
